Plants in Action - lesson one

Today we begun learning about plants. Pairs arranged items that they thought linked together. The rest of the class watched patiently.

Charlottes Web Timeline

Today we read chapter four of Charlotte's  Web and then we created a timeline about Wilbur's day.

On the first day of school we begun our silent reading program. Students choose a book at their level of reading, read for ten minutes and then record the book in a diary.

Today we began reading Charlotte's Web. After chapter one we discussed persuasive reasons to either kill the pig or save the pigs in partners.

Wow! What an amazing day we had today! The highlight I think for everyone would have to be sewing our shapes onto our warm fuzzy bags. They look amazing. Here are the super little sewers!!

Well the first day of school is over. It's been an extremely busy day but it's been very enjoyable getting to know our new class. We even had a chance to have Sport with Miss Katie today, which we always love.
